Le 12 janvier, un séisme de magnitude 7 sur l’échelle de Richter a touché Haïti. Rejoignez les efforts internationaux pour aider les victimes du séisme. Vos dons permettront de reconstruire des vies et des communautés locales. Pour sa part, Google a annoncé une aide d’un million de dollars pour soutenir les organisations sur le terrain.

Faire un don à l’UNICEF


L’UNICEF a commencé à envoyer un approvisionnement en eau salubre et des équipements d’assainissement, des médicaments et des abris provisoires à Jacmel et à Port-au-Prince. L’UNICEF va également concentrer ses efforts sur les enfants qui ont été séparés de leur famille pour les protéger des mauvais traitements et de l’exploitation. (Dons en dollars.)

CARE prévoit de commencer la distribution de nourriture, notamment de biscuits protéinés provenant de ses stocks en Haïti. CARE compte 133 employés qui coordonnent les efforts des agences de l’ONU et d’autres organismes d’aide dans le but de fournir des informations plus détaillées sur la situation et l’étendue des dégâts causés par le séisme. UNICEF is deploying clean water and sanitation supplies, therapeutic foods, medical supplies and temporary shelter to Jacmel and Port-au-Prince. UNICEF will also be focusing on children who have become separated from their families to protect them from harm or exploitation.

CARE plans to start food distributions using stocks of high-protein biscuits from CARE warehouses in Haiti. CARE has 133 staff who are on the ground coordinating with U.N. agencies and other aid organizations to gather more detailed information about the damage and will rapidly scale up response based on those assessments.
