Church bells rang out in Juba, the capital of southern Sudan the middle of Saturday morning marked the beginning of celebrations of the independence of this new state, which will be announced officially at 08.45 Tg Saturday.
And dozens of foreign leaders will attend, including 30 leaders of Africa in celebration of the proclamation of independence of South Sudan.
The program offers military celebrations and an official ceremony during which he will fly the flag of southern Sudan, will also sign the country's first president, Salva Kiir, the interim constitution.
The ceremonies will be held near the tomb, John Garang, leader of southern rebels, who died a few months after signing the peace agreement in 2005 which put an end to the war lasted for more than 50 years between the southern rebels and successive governments in Khartoum, made a stage of the truce lasted a few years.
